What Weve Been Up To This May

Introduction

It’s been another packed month for the team. Here’s a quick look at what we’ve been getting on with.

Sixteen years in business and going strong!

16 Years in Business and Going Strong! We hit a big milestone this month after 16 years in business. Thank you to every member of the team, our customers, and our partners. This one’s for all of you.

We supported a community run in Gerrads Cross

1,500 Runners. One Team. In Gerrards Cross. Andy and the team delivered a full road closure, 100m of barrier, six operatives, advanced warnings, and two Traffic Management Plans for a brilliant community event with 1,500 runners, walkers, and dogs taking to the streets for local causes. “Andy and the team were very helpful, professional, and helped make the event special. A real pleasure working with you guys.” A brilliant example of what this team is all about.

Great surveillance audit for our ISO & NHSS certification!

Surveillance audit for our ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 & National Highways Sector Schemes 12A/B & D

Last week, NQA visited the NTS headquarters and a selection of our operational sites to conduct a surveillance audit covering ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and the National Highways Sector Schemes 12A/B & 12D.

These audits are an essential part of ensuring we consistently meet and maintain the highest standards across our industry, reinforcing our commitment to quality, environmental responsibility, and health & safety.

We went to some big industry events!

We Were Out at the Industry’s Biggest Events! Kyle, Jack and Shawnie were out at Utility Week Live, meeting industry contacts, building new connections, and catching up with familiar faces. Great to be out there flying the flag. Jack was also representing the team at Traffex.

Lovely feedback from clients!

What Our Customers Are Saying. Wonderful feedback in the office this month. BIG thank you to everyone who takes pride in what they do and makes NTS what it is!

We implemented a multi-lane working system in Birmingham

We Managed Multi-Lane Working in Birmingham. Over in Birmingham, two and three lane working across James Watt Queensway and Jennens Road, with over 230m of barrier and marshals stepping up to clear TM during a marathon event. All delivered without a hitch.

Looking out for each other

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and it’s a cause close to our hearts. In an industry like ours, looking out for one another isn’t just good practice, it’s part of the culture. We’re proud to be welcoming Andy’s Man Club to the team soon.

We might be able to beat your traffic light quote

We stock a range of systems from multiple manufacturers and can supply everything in one place. Already have a quote? Send it over and we’ll see if we can beat it.

And that's not all

This month we also delivered a Cycle Superhighway closure in Central
London, managed traffic for a rooftop crane lift in Knightsbridge and plenty more jobs across the country. Thanks as always to the whole team. On to June!
