Introduction
We’re flying through the months and March has been another busy and productive month for the team at Nationwide Traffic Solutions. Here’s a small snapshot of what we’ve been up to…
First project with new client
We kicked things off in Gloucester, supporting EV infrastructure works for a brand new client. We put in place a two-way light system, lane closures and a full Traffic Management Plan. This was a great first job together and we’re excited to see how this partnership develops over time.

Traffic management at Channel 4 HQ
We also delivered a really exciting job at Channel 4’s headquarters on Horseferry Road, providing traffic management to support glass changing operations. This one had been in the pipeline since September last year, so it was brilliant to finally see it through. With our proposed system in place we kept traffic moving, closed and diverted the footway and installed 80 metres of barrier with four ramps across the site. Completed safely and without disruption, a big credit to the office team for getting everything in place before our crew even arrived on site.

Engagement event in Scunthorpe
Our Technical Manager Kyle headed to Scunthorpe this month for an engagement event around North Lincolnshire Council’s upcoming £96 million construction and highways framework. A great event to be part of and some really exciting opportunities on the horizon.

Burlington Gardens road closure
In Mayfair, we were at Burlington Gardens on Savile Row with a full road closure and diversion, cyclist signage and 100 metres of Heras fencing, with letter drops going out two weeks in advance to keep everyone informed. Keeping everyone in the area informed is always a priority for us.

Ongoing meetings with TFL
Finally our technical team has been and is still in the process of attending multiple face-to-face meetings with Transport for London. Getting in front of some of the biggest transport bodies in the country is always valuable and helps us build the kind of relationships that lead to great work.
Thanks as always to the whole team for a brilliant March. Let’s keep this energy going into April.
