What we’ve been up to this February

Introduction
After a really busy January, we’ve kept the momentum going strong into February and had another jam-packed month. Once again, we’ve been dotted all about the country doing everything TM, from site meetings and health and safety audits to jobs on site. Here’s a small selection of what we’ve been up to.
IPV job down Maidstone Road
To get us started, we had one of our Impact Protection Vehicles out for a week down Maidstone Road for a client installing EV charging points. For these works we provided a full turnkey solution for our client. Alongside the IPV, we provided an NHSS 12AB qualified 3 operative crew, we also supplied, installed and removed lane closures and dealt with pedestrian management to keep everyone moving safely. We also used Terraplas panels on this job, which is matting placed on grass to create a safe walkway for pedestrians. It’s always good to be involved in works that support more sustainable travel.
Road closure for air-con lift on pub roof
The TMOs were also busy at the Half Moon Pub keeping pedestrians and traffic in check while our client lifted aircon units onto the pub’s roof. For this job, we provided a road closure and diversion, a 70m long barrier, pedestrian ramps and advanced warning signs to keep everyone in the area informed. Our office team played a big role in this project as usual, from council liaison works permitting to organising letter drops to the whole street near the work site. This helps residents and businesses stay up to date and plan around the disruption.
Site meetings and new client opportunities
Going over to our office team, our Technical Manager Kyle and Company Director Rick, have both been out and about this month attending site meetings and clients. These meetings are always important as they keep all parties on the same page and help ensure we deliver the right traffic management and complete service for each project and customer. Being involved early allows us to plan properly and support our clients from the outset.
Score Gold on Health and Safety Audit
On the admin side, we passed our annual external health and safety audit with flying colours, achieving a Gold rating. Staying on top of health and safety is a huge priority for us to make sure we are keeping all of our workforce safe, both on site and in the office. We’re proud of the standard the team maintains and look forward to keeping it up over the next year.
Conclusion
Finally, it’s been a really busy month meeting with new clients. Building strong partnerships is a big part of what we do. We value long term working relationships and aim to be a reliable TM partner that our clients can count on time and time again.
