Our guys swapped the city skyline for Britain’s stunning countryside when we delivered traffic management for a 30km trail run this summer!
The team supplied a two way lights and marshals at the North Downs Run, a 30km run across rural Southern England. Event organisers contacted us with the request to supply traffic management for the event.
One particular location which required traffic management was a crossing point on Thong Lane, Gravesend. A site survey and site meeting was conducted as per company procedures.
Maximum safety at the crossing point required a 2-way temporary traffic light set up and High Speed signage. The site was marshalled by two operatives for the duration of the event operating radios to guarantee optimal communication.
Operatives installed all lights and equipment as per Chapter 8 and NHSS 12AB and 12D, and according to the site specific Risk Assessment, Method Statement and Quality Plans coordinated by our dedicated support team. Following the success of the event, positive feedback was received with further events contracts secured as a result.
