This one involved supporting joint bay and substation works on a live road. A setup that required a bit more coordination than most given the three-way junction involved. We had a 3-way light system running throughout alongside two controlled crossings to keep pedestrians moving safely around the site.

What we had on the ground:
→ 3-way lights — managing traffic across three directions simultaneously, keeping the junction controlled and moving
→ 2 x pedestrian crossings — making sure pedestrians had a safe, managed route through the site at all times
→ 60m of barrier — full site perimeter secured throughout the works
→ 4 x ramps — access maintained at multiple points across the site
→ Full Traffic Management Plan — everything planned and signed off before work began

Joint bay and substation works are critical infrastructure jobs. Getting the traffic management right around them means the engineers can get on with the job safely without the road becoming a problem.

The works were completed safely and without disruption to the surrounding area.
