Car Park Complex Road Closure Ossett Wakefield Blog

Car parks aren’t the first place you’d think of for a complex road closure, but this one had a few challenges. Ossett, Wakefield.

A busy retail park with multiple drive-thrus, heavy traffic and high pedestrian volumes throughout. Every business had to stay fully open and unaffected for the duration, and with a change to the normal car park flow, the TM scheme had to be clear and easy for everyone to follow.

Our office team did some heavy lifting before our crew even arrived. With careful planning around access routes, customer flow and pedestrian movement, everything was mapped out and in place so the works could run smoothly from day one.

On site, we installed 120m of Heras fencing with wind stabilisers and ballast blocks throughout, supported by two-man crew and a van fully stocked with chapter 8 equipment to keep the setup running from start to finish. The works themselves supported the installation of EV charging docks, following a previous visit to lay the infrastructure connection.

Every business kept trading, every customer kept moving, works completed safely.

Got a complex or unusual site? Let’s talk.
