This project saw one of our Impact Protection Vehicles deployed for just over a week on Maidstone Road, supporting a client with the installation of EV infrastructure.
We delivered a complete turnkey traffic management solution for the duration of the works. Our NHSS 12AB-qualified 3-operative crew was on site every day, with the full setup including 2 support vans and the IPV installed.
Alongside the IPV and crew, we supplied, installed and removed all lane closures and managed pedestrian movements throughout. This helped keep the public moving safely at all times. One standout element of this job was the use of 18 Terraplas panels. These panels are specialist matting placed on grass verges to create a safe, stable walkway for pedestrians.
It’s always rewarding to support works that contribute to greener, more sustainable travel. The EV infrastructure industry is only going to grow, and having the right traffic management in place from day one ensures these projects can be delivered safely and efficiently.
