Trainee Traffic Management Operative
No experience required!
Nationwide Traffic Solutions – Grays, Essex
Flexibility to work across the UK is a requirement.
Multiple shift patterns are available. Example shift patterns include:
7 on 4 off 7 on 3 off
(other shift patterns may be considered)
Full training scheme provided to achieve Streetworks AND Lantra qualifications
Responsibilities and Duties
- Conducting traffic management activities, such as Road Closures, Lane Closures, Traffic Light systems
- Safety onsite
- Carrying out required works following the RAMS provided
- Loading and unloading Traffic Management Vehicles (Manual Handling)
- Good housekeeping of site, work yards & any sleeping accommodation
- PPE checks
- Great communication between colleagues and supervisors
- Understand the company near miss reporting procedure, incident procedure and the accident procedure
- TMO’s that have access to company vehicles MUST adhere to the NTS Driver Policy and driver handbook
- Notify relevant managers and personnel to any changes made to works
- To promote the company whenever possible
- Deliver GREAT service to our customers
Skills & Requirements:
- Good communication skills
- Organised with attention to detail
- Hardworking and Enthusiastic
- Good attitude to work
- Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check
- Full UK Driving licence- manual
- Team Player

Experienced Traffic Management Operative

We have multiple positions available for Experience and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives who hold a UK driving licence.
Flexibility to work across the UK is a requirement.
Multiple shift patterns are available. Example shift patterns include:
7 on 4 off 7 on 3 off / 6 on 3 off / 4 on 4 off
(other shift patterns may be considered)
**We will also consider applications from candidates requiring work on a flexible/adhoc basis providing compliance with all Working Time Regulations are meet.

Salary
Shift rate is calculated by tickets. Full training scheme and entry to a personal development plan included to aid progression in Lantra tickets.
